The Mark A. Robbin, M.D. Fellowship Fund has been established to honor an outstanding physician and human being.
Please join us in honoring Dr. Mark A. Robbin, an outstanding and highly respected primary care physician for over 25 years in Simsbury, Connecticut.
ABOUT THIS FUND
We have established the Mark A. Robbin, M.D. Fellowship Fund to financially assist a full-time Quinnipiac University student enrolled in the Frank H. Netter, M.D. School of Medicine.
This fellowship will be granted annually to a medical student who demonstrates a strong commitment to pursuing a career in primary care medicine and who exemplifies Dr. Robbin's commitment to humanism in medicine, patient-centered care and the "art of healing".
In addition, designated rooms at the School of Medicine will be named in honor of Dr. Mark Robbin.
ABOUT DR. MARK ROBBIN
On August 24, 2013 we lost too soon an exceptional and beloved human being. Mark was our trusted physician, friend, colleague and loved one.
Mark was an "old school" doctor. Cultural and socio-economic boundaries did not exist in Mark's world. He did not wear a white coat nor did he favor being called doctor. He was an extraordinary physician and trusted friend. His loyalty to medicine and his patients was unwavering. Mark loved medicine. He loved the process of diagnosing. He gave unconditionally of his time and resources and expected nothing in return. Mark engaged us and made us feel comfortable and without a doubt made us laugh.
Dr. Robbin exemplified and perfected the art and science of patient care. He was a brilliant man with a huge heart.

ABOUT THE FRANK H. NETTER SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
To address the escalating shortage of primary care physicians, The Frank H. Netter, M.D. School of Medicine is the only medical school in Connecticut intentionally recruiting students interested in becoming primary care physicians.
